Page error - technical problem??

This probably isn't an RT problem but here goes...
Using colormatic and following one of the tutorials which involves creating a custom module. I click on the "new" button and the relevant screen comes up. However, I can't then use the Save, Apply or Cancel buttons and I can't click on the white area to add my HTML. There is also a warning triangle in the bottom left hand corner of the the browser (IE7) which tells me that

error : Access Denied
code : 0
URL : http://www. mysite .com/administrator/index2.php
I can click on the Save, Apply and Cancel buttons. However, nothing happens and the page error changes to :
line : 2528
character : 3
error : 'this.contentWindow.document' is null or not an object
code : 0
URL : http://www. mysite .com/administrator/index2.php
Is anyone able to give me a pointer on how to fix this problem?
