I have a client that is having a very strange strange thing happening when you search for the name of their company, "Round Tree landscaping". See attachment below. How in the world is this happening? It is the same on Bing and Yahoo but different on Google. I did a search on the code for that page and there are no metatags or title tags that have any wording like this. I need to prevent this some how.

You have to understand that domain with and without www is not the same domain for search engines

A couple of things that might be an issue:
1. in your footer links, they are all in the format:
70.87.62.162/~tuffturf/index.php?option=...icle&id=21&Itemid=53
Better to use the full/real url - just delete everything in the url leaving just the index.php?option=com etc
2. in your .htaccess file, add this:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^roundtreelandscaping.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ www.roundtreelandscaping.com/$1 [L,R=301]
This will redirect any non-www urls to the www. version and keep indexing consistent.
3. resubmit your website to the search engines ensuring your sitemap is correct and up to date - CMYKreative : Graphic Design , Web Design , Printing , Banner Ads , Branding and more.

- Now I look into your actual search results a little more, it leads me to think that you've got some bad code somewhere . . . those titles in the search results make it look as if the site has been hacked/compromised.

If the site was hacked, wouldnt I be able to find the meta tags that have the same wording as what i am seeing in the Google searches?
Also, Some people tell me that the link that that see in Google takes them to some other site but when I click on it, it takes me to he roundtreelandscaping.com website. - Houston Brown -

It might be a script running in your root directory.
When I clicked on all your search results, it loaded the url found in the search results and then some of them redirected to another url which lead me to think your site might be compromised. - CMYKreative : Graphic Design , Web Design , Printing , Banner Ads , Branding and more.

I've been there. Had this happen with a site almost 4 years ago. I used an untested extension, which opened up my entire website to this sort of malware.
If you've been using Akeeba Backup, and you know when the problem started, use a backup from before that date. That's the easy, brute method of solving the problem.
The other route is to do code compare, and run other diagnostics.
I had these guys fix that problem 4 years ago...

I've seen this sort of thing before. Yours might be different, but this is how I fixed this:
1) Look for rougue additions to the top of your .htaccess file and delete them. Look for htaccess files which have been added to sub directories (you can check this by looking at the modification date on directories
2) Also look for files called "default.php" in the same directory which have suspicious looking php code.
3) Check all the javascript files on the site and check the modification date. If it is recent, check the file for malicious code and delete it.
4) This tool is good for checking a site (although it won't spot all malicious code): sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/roundtreelandscaping.com
5) I would recommend you change your FTP password asap and run malwarebytes on any computers of anyone who has FTP access. - Freshpage Web Design

I found this link which had a solution to the problem. However it has return yet none of these files reside on my server. This is not my area of expertise yet it is proving to be quite a pain in my ass.
