Can't see my images

Hi,
I can see my images listed in the Media Manager, and they also appear when I preview content....but they do not appear on the site! I'm using Simplix on joomla! 1.0.
Also, in the Images tab for Content Items, the only folders that appear are the default stories/food, colorado, style etc folders....but in Media manager there are a bunch of other folders....shouldn't I be able to see them too?

You can't view all the images in the Media Manager within the images tab in Content Items, only those in images/stories. You probably want a content editor with a better image manager

Andrew, I'm assuming the missing images are JPG's? I had exactly the same problem some time back. Except, I could see the images on Firefox, but not IE, as I recall. I tried the Joomla forum where I found some other people with the same problem, but sadly no real solution was found.
In the end, I recreated the images (from the same source) and renamed them and they showed ???. I haven't had the problem since (thankfully).
