  • Using 'Show Other Categories" problem

    • How to make this simple? When I have a parent category with child cats. I want those child categories to be listed on the Parent Category page. When I use the param 'Show Other Categories" I get my child categories.

      Problem: I have a parent called Articles, and then child cats. of different article topics. Then the articles are grouped by topic. BUT the Articles category page also lists the child categories from my Products page.

      Same with the Products category page ... it shows the product sub-cats. and also the article sub-cats. Not cool. I only want to show the product children on the Products page and only the article children on the Articles page.

      Both Parent categories are in the same Section ... would assigning them each their own Section handle this?

      If not, is there a way to do this with V3, or is this a basic Joomla issue? ... or just not doable unless I know php code? (I don't)
