Has anyone had any experience with this?
I installed everything ok but the page just sits there with 'Loading, Please wait ...'
I get 3 error messages in firebug:

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Laurel, it's probably due to a conflict between ajax used in the joomla tag component and other js. I have some issue with joomla tag but nothing wrong enought to not use the component.
Try to use the patch provided in Phil forum. It's a sticked topic called "if you already have a patched index.php" or something like that. Maybe this solution resolve your problem.
