Yes, it could be a watercooler topic; lose weight, but I'm talking about my website...
I think my website is quite basic, not to much fancy stuff or heavy modules. But I don't get it done to get a fast pageload. I think I have too much scripts and css and stuff that I don't need. Does anyone here want to help me out and archive a fast page load? My webiste is now 580Kb with Rokbooster on, that is not too big, but the loading time costs about 2,5, mostly 3- 3,5 and sometimes over 4 seconds. That is too long loading time I think. Hope you guys can help me out.
@ Hugo Avilla,
Jqeury is fo the menu that goes to mini-menu when you scroll down. Could be minimized in the script, but I'm not a nerd and cannot change it.
Server is slow to respond, but I have contacted my hostingcompany and they say it is more in the code than the server. Server can response earlier, but code is quite big/heavy to load.
I use Rokbox, not on frontpage, but on the articles.
1,2mb? I thougt it was 800 with cache on...?
@ rstewart2000: Thank you for your url. Will check out.
