I don't want to take up moderator time with my questions so mods please dont waste your time. I am absolutely new to making webpages and this is my first go. I'm posting this here hoping that some fellow rockettheme members might show some pity and point me in the right direction. :cheesy:
First question, is there any guide or maybe even youtube video that does a good job of explaining the basics of building a page with rocket and joomla? I have found some for usinging joomla itself, but if there is one tailored directly towards rockettheme templates that would help. I've been messing around and figured out some basics as far as adjusting the look and layout of the leviathan template. i'm currently able to make articles and link them from menus and such (i am using the leviathan template) however there is much more for me to learn. Which leads to the second question.
Second question is there a good guide to managing templates? I've figured out that my articles keep loading up images on the left side of the center text because it is a property of the template. I would like to learn how to manage templates so that i can say give the main page one layout but then when loading up articles that the main page links to, have an entirely different layout.
I know these questions while dealing with the basics are easy to answer but the answers themselves require alot of teaching. That is why I'm asking for links to the guides/ videos and such that have helped you get it all down rather than asking for you to tell me how. Thank you and I hope to not be a clueless noob for long

- You will find a lot of info in the template's own forum and also where you download the template.
