    • Hello There!

I've been working hard on a website for one of my clients ( Joomla 1.13, Versatility 3 + virtuemart ) in the host www.bejerusalem.com .

So I tried to moved the whole site ( donwload from www.bejerusalem.com & uploaded it to www.bigjack.co.il ), but the thing is, its still linking back to http://www.bejerusalem.com  :-[

I want the whole site to link to itself ( www.bigjack.co.il )

Can someone please help me achieve that?? what do I need to change?? where I do that?? ???
I'd really appreciate any help, thanks

      Dan

    • You need to ensure the configuration.php is updated to reflect the new server paths and live site URL. Did you also move the database? Or is that still pointing to the old one too?

    • Hey Dan, great name =)

      Thanks for the quick response!
      I've just now edited my configuration.php, it seems only finding the string " www.bejerusalem.com " and changing it to " www.bigjack.co.il " isn't enough :-\ :(
Are there any other files I need to modify??

and no, I haven't moved the database yet.
Do you have any clue on how to do that?

      Thanks for your patience..

    • OK Here is my progress:

So I managed to move the database and the live site, all the configuration seem to look good.
But, for some reason, it takes the live site ( www.bigjack.co.il ) years to load, and eventually it misses some graphic files, and toolbar ( in the joomla admin ).
Usually it would have tell me the error and I'd go dig the problem, but it doesnt write anything now..

Now, I dont know what to do ???
Any ideas, help me please :(
