- I currently run version 1.5.26 of the Replicant theme and wish to update to the latest version. I would prefer the new website to look exactly like the old one. Can I buy the latest version of the Replicant theme and then use some program to produce the same structure and content of the old website? I am new to this migration business. Thanks for the help.

- You can buy a subscription to the template club and download version of the template for newer version of the Joomla. For the instructions and steps that you need to do to successfully migrate your website from J1.5 to the newer version of Joomla, you will need to consult Google, find some tutorials which will explain you how to do it or if that is too difficult for you to do (migration I mean), you can hire someone to do it for you

This is my recommendation for an upgrade strategy. I've used this successfully on several sites and its been more consistent that others I've tried:

You'll still have to carry over any customizations as the "migration" really is a new start and a move to new files.
