Would love to hear your opinions on this....
Have a site in mind that needs to display jewellery, lots of it. Around 500 products actually.
This is for a manufacturer so no pricing or online ordering is required. Just a nice, clean, easy to navigate site with categories of products and then specific products underneath.
Example of Hierarchy would be ...... Parent Categories like 1. Silver 2. Gold 3. Glass 4. Accessories
Sub categories eg would be (for cat 1. silver) 1a. Group1 , 1b. Group 2.
Third level children is actual products in each sub category
(sorry if i'm using the wrong terminology here ;D )
Product needs to display an image (thumb and large), product name and a brief description.
I should mention that we have used oscommerce for this in the past but I am not a fan of any of the templates and the look and feel is important to the client on this one. Since Joomla combines both, it would be great to find a solution here.
Any recommendations on templates / modules that would best suit this?
