I lost the rocklatest module and I'm having trouble reloading it.
I went to modules to ftp the module.
In modules is a rocklatest sub folder with mootolls.r597.js in which I overwrote the one on my server with
In modules is a file called mod_rocklatest.xml in which I overwrote the one on my server with
In modules is a file called mod_rocklatest.php in which I overwrote the one on my server with
I changed the permissions to 777.
None of this worked.
So I went to Module installer and got this message at the top:
Warning: Installing 3rd party extensions may compromise your server's security. Upgrading your Joomla! installation will not update your 3rd party extensions. For more information on keeping your site secure, please see the Joomla! Security Forum.
I tried to upload the module and got this message:
Upload module - Upload Error
Upload failed as /media directory is not writable.

Can anyone help please.

No I'm not able to. Is it anything to do with this:
# PHP register_globals setting is `ON` instead of `OFF`
# Joomla! RG_EMULATION setting is `ON` instead of `OFF` in file globals.php
