Ok I am using the Sporticus dark, V2 red
I changed teh title in globalconfig..but the browser still shows as:
site name - sporticus - sport/news design
How do I remove all the stuff after my site name? I searched teh forum and found
nothing related to this specific issue and tried everything I can think of, im assuming
its template related
Chris, I think the browser window title will change depending on what content you are viewing.
For instance your homepage Browser Window title reads this:
Kirkwood Motorsports - ASCORS Racing Team - Sporticus - Sports/News Design:
Title| Sporticus - Sports/News Design (it's getting these words from the title of the first published article on page)
Description| Joomla - the dynamic portal engine and content management system ( from your site global configuration site description)
Keywords| Joomla, joomla (from your sites global config. keywords)
Generator| Joomla! - Copyright (C) 2005 - 2006 Open Source Matters. All rights reserved.
Robots| index,follow
Content-Type| text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
So I think when you edit the title of your first published article on the frontpage the browser title will change to reflect the new one.
If you log into your admin panel and go to site global config tab and change your sites meta information (site description and keywords) the rest of the page info. will change as well.
Hope this helps....
