Cannot Login To Admin

I'be been searching the board for this but I cannot find anything the same as this. I just completed the RocketLauncher install and the site is running perfectly with the demo data. However, when I go to administrator and try to log in fails and asks me to log in again. No errors are displayed (display errors is on in php.ini). No messages about login details being incorrect. I t just doesn;t seem to be starting the session.
I do have this problem though and I don't know if it is related or not....
PHP version >= 4.1.0 Yes
- zlib compression support Available
- XML support Available
- MySQL support Available
configuration.php Writeable
Session save path Unwriteable
/phpsessions
Anyone have any ideas?

I think you should contact your hosting company to enable Session save path : writeable located in "php.ini " - Stay Zone Communities l Bali Web Web Design

I got it sorted. My host was pathetic. The hosting package was not configured properly and they wouldn't do anything about it. So I got a refunded and took all my business else.
And what do you know... no problems....

I am having this same problem. I just re uploaded the site from before it was hacked. Now when I try to login it tells me incorrect Username, Password please try again.
How can I override this?
