    Should I not be able to see the forum??

    • Ok previously in the forum config under security i had for

      " Set to "Yes" to allow only registered users to use the Forum (view & post), Set to "No" to allow any visitor to use the Forum"

      I had it set to No, But, I wanted to have it so the forum was only viewable to people who were registered so i set it to YES to only allow registered, basically to force people to register to a degree

      Problem is when i set it to yes

      Even if I ( administrator ) am logged into backend admin.. I dont see the forum on the frontend, it says

      " This forum is open only to registered and logged in users.
      If you are already registered, please log in first."

      I am already registered though right? with the rocketlauncher version the admin is a registered person, like do i have to register again???

      Like im already in the USERS for Community builder and Group Jive so i should have access to view the forum, i dont get it..

    • I have noticed that even if your logged into the backend administration this does not mean your are logged into the front end.
      I logged into the front end the other day using an account with admin privilages, yet when I went to the back end it was still asking me to login. Wierd?

      I don't know if it the way Joomla works as we have just started playing with it, but other CMS's I have used if you log in as the admin on the front end it carries your credentials and status through to the backend as well.

      This would obviosly explain you situation.

      Right..

      Glad others are getting this happening too..

      So basically I have to create an account for myself on the frontend and give that account admin rights
