What to charge for website customers?

Posted 17 years 2 months ago
    • So I have been installing and playing with joomla for about 2 years now. Recently I have been approached by several people who want websites from me and I have no idea what I should be charging people.

      Here are my questions:
      • Should I register the domain for them
      • Should I find a host for them
      • Do I give them administrator access to the backend of Joomla or do I just give them publishing rights?
      • What do you guys do?
      • How much is a fair price to do a joomla type install?
      • Charge per project or by the hour
      • Charge a monthly fee to administer the website for the customer?
      • Charge extra for forums, stores, shoutboxes?
      • What about a website conversion into joomla, how much does that cost?
      • etc...

      Thanks,

      Kirk
