    • Can you use this form component for detailed forms or do you know of a good component for making long forms (like job applications)? I am trying to use fabikar right now but I am having a lot of errors that are coming up using this.

      Thank you,
      Brittani

I am a Fabrik guy; what kind of errors? Hugh and Rob over there are great help when you run into errors, but Fab 1.0.4 is pretty polished and works out of the box.

Did you update to the latest SVN? Most errors were fixed months and months ago and the code polished in the SVN.

    • No I have not updated to the SVN version. I just got a message telling to to upgrade to the SVN version but I not sure how to do that? I am very new at using the Fabrick. One of the errors that I am having is:

When I try to view my database I am getting:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/andy8181/public_html/administrator/components/com_sef/includes/sef.config.php on line 101

After I sumbmit the form I am getting this message at the top of the page and then under this message is my thank you message:

      Duplicate entry \'\' for key 1 SQL=INSERT INTO jos_fabrik_formdata_1 ( `company_name`,`contact_name_1`,`phone_number_1`,`email`,`additional_info`,`fabrik_internal_id` ) VALUES ( \'brittani\',\'jkjkljkljkl\',\'kljkljkljk\',\'bldearmond@hotmail.com\',\'jllkjljkljl\',\'\' )

The last thing is, on my form I have a field where my clients can upload there prints, the prints upload fine but when the form arrives in my e-mail inbox the file that they uploaded is not there?

Sorry for all the questions, I got to learn this sometime. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out. I am puzzled why I getting these errors.

    • Yes, the SVN addresses all of these problems. :) They are about to port over all the svn files into a new Fab 1.0.5 download, but until then, the file you downloaded is months and months and months old, thus requiring you to grab the SVN to fix all of this. :)

Follow these instructions to get rid of the errors:

      fabrikar.com/index.php?option=com_fabrik...&rowid=10&tableid=29

If you have any problems with grabbing the SVN, PM me and I'll walk you through it. :)
