heheheh. actually, that's pretty cool for a beta1. Is that new form styling I see? Login button looks better then the Safari one. Thanks for screeny wingman.
I do have to say one thing...I give Microsoft Kudos for putting IE7 Emulate software on IE8 - plus, they put a big button on the browser bar and made some big announcements about it to insure people are aware of it when you upgrade to Beta IE8.
Also, they state very clear that IE8 is mainly for developers to help them make it better.
The main reason I upgraded was because I knew I could hit the button and go back to IE7 if need be...and boy, do I need to.
Hopefully they will keep moving toward working with standards...we shall see. : GollumX wrote:

Oh, and I will check it out in Safari GollumX (one more browser for me to cringe looking at). I just got my G4 back from my son...who was using it. Time to play ;D

I tried numerous times to install Safari for Windows but it just wouldn't work. Thank goodness nobody uses it, else that would be another browser to have to hack for.
From any of my testing, safari on windows renders exactly the same as safari on the mac. And i've never had any trouble installing it, I guess that comes down to compatibility of some driver somewhere Man i don't miss that stuff.

Good news, thanks Andy. I'll try a few more times to get Safari installed... then I can hold off on the huge expense of getting a Mac for another year at least.
