Just thought I'd mention it here because at the initial stage a few of you did vote, but my site at
www.avfcblog.com
has been short listed at
www.footballfanzineawards.com
for an award this year.
For any that don't know about football in the UK this is a very prestigious award to win and wouldn't have been possible without Sporticus.
Basically when the awards were opened they had the list of sites they thought should be in, then it was about getting votes - not to get to the next stage exactly, just to allow others to get other nominations in. Anyway, the judges have decided that my site should be short listed and now the panel will look at all the sites in more depth.
Not sure when I'll find out who wins and there are some really great football blogs so, and I hate saying this, to get short listed is reward enough to some extent, but if I won it would be absolutely amazing.
Anyway, thanks to Joomla for the system and mostly to RT for the template. - www.c3p0.se - sweden
