I like my NAS - it hooks up to my XBOX360 and every device in the house can connect to it but QNAP have now released one that will run Joomla:

I run a few sites; some get very little traffic but others get quite a bit - but nothing huge. I wouldn't want to even try running my big sites off this but maybe for a small family home page it's ideal.

I'm not entirely convinced but I suspect that in 10 years we all could be running servers from home. Will anyone be trying one these? i'm thinking about it as my LaCie is limited. - www.c3p0.se - sweden

Thanks damo to share this information. In fact I would be very insterested to run my own server at home
But my principal website is large with a LOT of bandwithd and displaying streaming videos. Where I live I only can have a poor 8Mb connection (but in reality just 3 or 4Mb). However, if you will use this server, please, let me know what you think about.
