- I use Dreamweaver quite a bit. In there, things such as google ads, scripts, etc. are just put into your editor and when displayed all is there. Why does the architecture of Joomla not allow all this in the editor?

Although I've never tried, I think you can edit your pages in your favorite software, turn the WYSIWYG off, and paste the code into your Articles. - Thanks,
