Wow, no one mentioned Crysis yet, it's the best game I ever played!
I also like Gears of War and all the Unreal Tournament games. I only started playing alot recently, now that Macs finally have a decent "affordable" game card the Nvidia 8800 so I can really enjoy the crazy beautiful graphics in all their glory. ::M::

Oooo, a gaming thread Hurray!
Xbox 360
1) Halo (1, 2 and especially 3) - this is the most fun online game for the xbox that I have ever played! Any other Halo fans out there?
2) Star Wars BattleFront (1 and 2) - a really well rounded 3rd person shooter but it was the nostalgic value that gets you as Star Wars are some of my favourite films
3) Lego Star Wars - this is one of the funniest games to play, Lego Game + Star wars is endless hours of fun, I am sure Andy can back me up on this one!
4) GTA (3, VC, SA and 4 which I just got) - probably the most popular console game of all time, I can just play this for hours and hours and hours and with the Aston Martin being available on GTA4, what have you got to loose
5) Need for Speed - I can't remember what version I got but it was about 2 years ago and was the only car game that I actually enjoyed. It was similar to the car aspect of GTA which I liked.
PC
I am not much of a PC gamer myself, the console is where it is at but I do like a few
1) Empire Earth - a strategy game which was immense, similar to Age of Empires but more immense in my opinion.
2) Age of Empires - I loved...them all.
3a) Star Trek Armada - now this game is old when I had a 300mhz computer lol - a strategy game based on star trek which was quite fun
3b) Homeworld - similar to Armada being situated in space but 3D
4) Tetris - I ... am ..... addicted
5) Delta Force - only ever played at a friends house with the glitchy animations and pixelated graphics but was the only FPS shooter I ever enjoyed on the PC (excluding attempting to shoot Andy on a newer FPS)
I love games but much prefer the Xbox and playing on Xbox Live online

PS- @James, we ran our own dedicated servers for PS2 versions of SWBF1 and 2 for 4 years. We had a web gui to change setup and could have 999 reinforcements and run smooth with 20 players. I enjoyed the xbox version also. GREAT GAME!!

Ok, since this old thread got resurrected, I guess it's time to update the list. This list is for PC games in single player since I don't really play in multiplayer.

7. Gears of War (don't have an xbox for #2)

10. Bionic Commando (yes it's gotten bad reviews, but it's fun)
