404 error...article #55?

I had something happen while i was building my site with the new hyperion template. I got done for the night and logged off the cpu...then came back just to check it and noticed that the admin section was up...but the actual site when I typed in the web address was giving me a screen that said 404 error...article #55. What is that about? I had to trash the whole site and restart from the begining. I had just installed and placed the "frontpage slideshow" component (third party component). Everything was fine when I logged off...then BAM...total shut down on the front end. Can someone tell me what a 404 error is at article #55? any help would be appeciated...
