Javascript issue

    • Hi,

I was wondering if someone operates a website with live news because I have an issue on this. The news provider's user guide says to put this javascript code in the article page (<script type="text/javascript" charset="UTF-8" src="xxxxxxxxxxxx"></script). This displays headlines and it works fine. What I don't like is when you click on a headline, the news item opens in a totally blank page and it is not good-looking. It opens in the parent window which becomes just a blank page instead of my website with the news article displayed. To overcome this, the user guide suggests to create a template, an html page in which you just put <?contentInclude?> where you want to see the news displayed, and to give a specific name to this html file. Then, all you have to do is to upload this template in the EXACT same folder where the page containing (<script type="text/javascript" charset="UTF-8" src="xxxxxxxxxxxx"></script) is stored. And this is where my problem is, I don't know which folder it is. I have tried to put the template in the folder mysite/administrator/components/com_content/ but it doesn't work. If someone has an idea, this would be much appreciated.

      Thanks,

      René.
