    Hosting Recommendations Please

    • Hi fellow mac users,

      I'm having problems finding a good hosting plan. Can you please recommend some companies that you've had good service. My one 'must have' is that I can upload zipped files and extract them in my file manager. Joomla 1.5 would also be nice but I can work around that one but Wordpress support but would be nice.

    • I speak highly of Rochen, though it's my first host on the php side of the fence...great speed, great service, great support...just a little stingy on the bandwidth and storage, but I can appreciate my site being on a host with 198 other sides rather than 1842, which was the case with my last host. ;)

      Given that they don't oversell their resources and the speed is awesome, I am never looking back...until I need some dedicated hosting. :)

    • MediaTemple (DV) is what i'm using. Definently expensive, but it works great, is VERY fast, and their support is pretty good.
