an intro page that can show up before your main website

- You want to add a index.html page to the root of your Joomla directory. Most servers will load this first.

yes. that's what i want. a page that will be loaded first (for 15 second example) before te main page of the website ( i mean the index.php).
how to do it ?
is there anything to change in the configuration code or i just have to create the index.html page at the root ?

First off, this is aweful for SEO.
You could go over to ninjoomla.com and hit File>"Save Page" in your browser, then edit that for your site. The key part is in the head:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="10;url=http://ninjaforge.com/">
The "10" is the time in seconds before the user gets redirected to the url following that (You would change that to yourdomain.com/index.php
CG Icon, that IS tricky ... maybe possible with cookies... but the splash screen would appear when using a different PC or after the browser cache is cleared.
