Rocket Launcher problem

- Hi I have used rockettheme templates very successfully and for the first time I am trying to use Rocketlauncher. My problem is that, eben after reading tutorials and previous posts, i am still having issues. I upload to my site www.toowombaphotography.com and had to create a public_hmtl folder where I placed the unzipped rocketlauncher folders. When I go to the site I only see the file directory. There are of course no index or config files. I have my database installed and cannot get to the stage where I see the installer page. I see that some folk have managed to unravel this [previously but there are no posts to the forum as to how they did it - only that they have been successful. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello,
You should not have to create any folders in your web host directory. Most hosts use either 'public_html' or 'httpdocs' as the root folder for uploading your Joomla files to.

When you upload the Rocketlauncher to your root (public_html) and unzip the file, there will appear something like joomla_rt_colormatic( or the template that you will use) so all the files inside that folder must be moved to the root.

Thanks for your responses! I have watched the video, followed instructions and still get this:

Hello,
Thank you for contacting our Technical Support Department.
I noticed that the files have been uploaded in the correct folder "toowoombaphotography.com" which is the domain main folder , however there is a directory listing at toowoombaphotography.com/ as some of the files are not uploaded yet like the index.php , etc.
Does this make sense to anyone? I also noticed the absence of the index php etc

If you want send me an pm with access to your server and i will help you with the install, seeems like that there your dont unzip the file index.php. check at the rocketlanuncher files and you should be able to see it

I'm not having success either. i just joined and am using the Rocket Launcher pachage. I uploaded it and unziped the file. But, when i type the address that the video tutorial says nothing is coming up. And I'm not sure if the video tutorial coincides with the Rocket Launcher page regarding the url. I see a different url than what the video is saying.
Also, a note the link in this thread to the "new video" isn't working.

Hi Scott
I am sure that your problem is the same as I had - check that you have eg an index.php in your backend. I would download your package again, re-unzip and you should find all the missing files. Thay is what I found was wrong. Then you see the normal joo mla install page, follow the prompts and all should be well
