Error instaling Virtue Mart

Hello!
I tried several times to install the virtue mart in my Chromatorphore template and got the same error message:
"There was an error uploading this file to the server."
Im using joomla 1.5, all my directories permissions are set to 777, I did unziped the archive that I downloaded from virtue mart site and the name of the archive Im trying to install is com_virtuemart_1.1.2.j15.rar
Really appreciate any help on this! ;D
NOTE: Just changed the parameters.ini file to 777 and its now "writable" and still cant install. - Last Edit: 16 years 8 months ago by Raphael Marchetti.
