    • Since this one of the default templates and not a Rocket Theme template, you may find the answers you need here:

      forum.joomla.org/viewforum.php?f=404

Since I don't have Beez sample content loaded in any of my installs I guessing, so here goes...

Deleting the Latest News & Popular: un-publish the modules:

Extensions > Module Manager > Find the modules and un-puiblish or delete them.

Un-publishing will allow you to republish later, deleting will delete them, you can always recreate them.

Reducing the width of the Main Menu: this is controlled by setting in the template.css.css... ( ??? index.php?) Since I don't have the template and sample content installed, I can't tell you what to change, again, someone over at joomla.org probably has the exact answer you're looking for.

Deleting the info for articles: Article Manager > Parameters > Select or de-select the items you want to appear by default. When you're done, don't forget to scroll back to the top of the window and click 'Save' or 'Apply'. This can also be controlled at the article level buy adjusting the parameters for each article. Note: There's been some problems with this, sometimes this will affect all articles regardless of the published date, currently published articles and the ones you create after the change, sometimes the old articles won't change to the new default settings, but the new ones will.

Seems like the Beez logo is an image in an article - you simple find the article in the Article Manager and edit it - deleting the content / image and replace it with your own.

      HTH a bit :)

    • They must be modules...

Click on Web Links, you'll see they are not published on that page.

Your list only shows 20 items, is there a page two in the Module Manager listing?

Here's a suggestion: create another database and and install another copy of Joomla this time without the sample data.

That way, you can start off with the template as default without any module published to any menus and start fresh.

You've already deleted or un-published content and modules ans now a lot of your menu links are generating 404 errors which you'll have to fix.

IMHO, it's easier to start with a blank template and add exactly what you want where you want without having to delete content or un-publish modules.

    • Add ?tp=1 to your site address: www.ourvillagegrande.com/?tp=1

You will see the positions of your modules.

Latest News is published in user1.

      Popular in user2.

Unpublish these modules in your module manager.

I try to get these answers at the Joomla board but most of the time no one answers them?
