hivemind - breadcrumb navigation problem

Help, I can't find a forum addressing this. I am a newbie and this is probably an easy fix. I installed the hivemind template and the breadcrumb/pathway bar is showing up, however there is no words in the bar example: Home ) Features) etc). When i click "NO" for show breadcrumbs, the bar just dissapears. It is on "YES" for show breadcrumbs but still no navigation words showing up. How do I get the navigation of the pages to show up in the bar? I have searched the tutorials and I'm guessing the tutorials were written for joomla 1.0 because my html code looks different when i click "edit html" on the template manager. Please help.
I'm using Joomla 1.5
