the "Read More" option...?

  • the "Read More" option...?

    Posted 16 years 7 months ago
    • My articles are getting a bit large... How do i make it so that it doesn't show the entire article on it's category page, but instead has a "Read More" option??

      example: aionphoenix.com/index.php?option=com_con...log&id=42&Itemid=110

      as you can see, the bottom articles (from the demo content) have a read more option, and my new article does not. any help?

    • Manually place the Read More in the article.

      Open the article, at the bottom of the text field, you'll see a Read More icon.

      Place the cursor where you want to cut the article, click the icon and save.

    • Yes, in each article, there's a readmore item added from the button. The code looks like this:
      <a title="Clinical" href="index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=66"><span class="dropcap-color2">W</span>eekly Clinical Practice</a> for CNT students and practitioners Tuesdays, Mar 27- July 29, 2008 Times: 5:30-8:30 p.m. Location: Oakland, CA Tuition: $250n and on lorumip sum Dol. Or Lorem ipsum dolor.lots more t1
      <hr id="system-readmore" />
      p sum Dol. Or Lorem ipsum dolor.lots more te

      etc.
