choose a date to archive an article

Hi!
I was looking for a plugin for Joomla 1.5 allowing me to choose a date to archive an article, exactly like the default unpublish function.
I don't understand why it's possible to define dates to publish and unpublish an article but there is no option to choose a date to archive...
I used the pathetic search field of joomla.org and obviously it shows me all kind of things but no archive related plugin
