SEF Loaded, But...

    • I'm not sure what to do next, and the instructions are making my eyes hurt. When I go over to global config and enable the sef and apache controls, I get urls for the pages, but I also get all 404 urls. I know there's something I'm overlooking, but I just can't see what it is. I've been in front of the computer all day.

Can someone tell me how to connect my already established pages to the urls, and how to make the other sites url friendly?

    • In my experience, I had to turn off SEF in global config in order for the pages to work. This has caused me concern when it comes to SEO, since the URL created by Joomla is not necessarily SEO friendly. But that was the only way I could get the pages to work.

    • I tried that, and still, I get the 404 pages. I'm really upset, because I chose the paid service from Artio.net, and now all I see in their support forum are dozens of emails that haven't been answered for weeks.
I don't know how reliable they are at this point, but I'm looking for a refund right now.

There's no need to paid for a service that has no support, when I can get it for free and still be in this predicament.
