anyway to for new pages to be previewed by clients b4 posted for world to see

    • My client's new joomla 1.5 site is working well for them except that they're upper management would like to preview the site updates before they've been published for the world to see. Is this possible. How? If not, anyone have suggestions about what I might offer.

      Thanks in advance.

    • looks like logging in as an administrator allows you to access the unpublished pages on the front end. guess this'll work.

    • I got some really good feedback on the joomla.org boards. Pasted reply below:

There are a several ways you could do this. (1) Post the articles as "unpublished" and have the reviewers login to the site as "Publishers". (2) Create a "review" website (for example, as a subdomain) and put the content there first for review. (3) Post the articles as restricted content (for example, in a section or category that requires Special) and then have them review it there. Change the category or section after it is reviewed.

It's the better way I think. However, it's not necessary to have a section or category that require Special. Just restrict the article for Special is enough.
