    Rocketlauncher with Joomla 1.5.x - Security Updates Needed!

    • Thanks for the Rocketlauncher.
      :( Unfortunatly the Rocketlauncher versions for the different templates dos not get updated with the latest joomla 1.5.x versions which addresses security vulnerability. So if one for example want to use the HiveMind template, one gets a Rocketlauncher with a Joomla 1.5.3. and then ignorantly installs a Joomla version with security flaws (todays Joomla is in it's 1.5.7 version). This detoriate the value of the Rockerlauncher installer. Anyone any comments on this? What is the solution etc....

      :) Yes you are right; my mistake. It states so very clearly, the 1.5.3 version must refer to version of the template.

    • RT usually updates all the install packages within days of a new security patch/version being released; once you have a site up and running, however, simply backup your current site, download the relative patch based on your current Joomla install, and overwrite the existing files with the patched files downloaded from:

      joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/frs/
