- But it loads for "hours" and looks to me like graffiti - hard to understand where to go, what to look at and so on.

Loads in 4-5 seconds here as well. The site looks nice and all but it's a bit confusing to use...

I've noticed that web designers are like fashion designers...no one is going to wear the stuff that is presented (strutted across) the catwalk, but they will higher them or buy their fashion line.
