- If you are sure that all files got uploaded and the configuration.php is correct then this shouldn't happen. At least not on Joomla 1.5 with PHP5...
  
  Someone else on the forum might know what could cause this. Or maybe it's an issue with the hosting company

- originally i loaded the terran tribune template using the joomla installer, someone said to delete it because its not neccesary, the template is included in the launcher. prior to trying to install the launcher the template was there, but i wanted the launcher to take advantage of the benefits

- Well, did you delete everything related to Joomla in public_html before using the RocketLauncher?

- i will re-delete everything. i am very discouraged. ordinarily, if you were installing the launcher for the first time, what would the correct procedure be? i have downloaded the launcher, extracted the launcher, and dragged the folder into my publichtml folder. somehow this wasn't successful

  TIP: as you have cPanel, it's much faster to upload the RocketLauncher archive and unzip it in the File Manager, then move all files into /public_html and start the installation.
