- We need to create a login for each client where they are given access to specific content for that client. It is very important that clients access their information only. Once logged in each client will be able to access PDFs and Excel docs specifically for that client.

Hi Amanda,
What your looking for isn't that difficult but it takes some time setting up. For User Profile Pages have a look at Community Builder. For Access to only certain files I'd have a look at DocMan since you can limit access to any type of downloadable materials, but you will need to set the permissions for each item you upload.

Dioscouri have just updated their Juga component (Access content) with the CheckRights plugin. Very interesting I must say.
The JUGA "CheckRights" plugin - By using this plugin, you can check whether or not a user has access to a particular URL. You can do this quickly–and easily–just by providing the plugin with the URL and User ID in question.more info here:
