I'm going to Amsterdam next week and the only other time I've visited was pure work so didn't have much time for anythig else. this time it's two days/nights with about 2 hours work so I've got loads of freee time.

Depends on what kind of guy you are... there's loads to do in Amsterdam, I think you already know some
.
Anyways if you want to know Amsterdam better, I'd recommend taking a Canal Tour.
You're on a very flat boat touring through the Amsterdam Canals while they tell show you and tell you stuff about Amsterdam.
I think you would mostly want to check out some Amsterdam History maybe:
The Van Gogh Museum
Anne Frank Museum
I dont know much more... I don't really like going to Amsterdam for Trips and Museums. I'm too young for that :-\ - Last Edit: 8 years 11 months ago by Kat05.

i must say it was a most excellent coule of days and anyone that hasn't been should go
the coffee shops were excellent and the all round expereince was very cool. it's nice to go to a new city and explore ... met up wiht a few guys on the sap teced conference and basically drand and ate sill amounts
i'm now thinking we should have two rocketheme expo's. one in the US and the other in amsterdam! i will be going back very soon and taking the wife! great place to go visit - www.c3p0.se - sweden
