Hey, I'm looking to write a simple component for my church site. The problem is, php and database stuff hurts my brain. I can do css and html (to a point) but I need help. I can't afford to pay anyone right now, but I would be glad to work out some kind of "rights" deal if we end up developing it. You could "sell" it or whatever we agreed upon.
What I'm looking for - I want something that could work with rokdownloads (but doesn't have to) to organize files for viewing and downloading. By all means, if you know of one already out there, let me know. I want my worship team to be able to get on the web site and access a few things. I'll attach screen shots of what it could look like...(at it's glory)

could easily do that...manage downloads, present in styled table views with advanced search/table filters, sorts, etc, etc. Perhaps take it for a ride and see what it can do...

- It can be done with SOBI but not the exact look unless you are willing to change a lot.

I know hope they release J1.5 native version soon, however the original poster didn't mention Joomla version so SOBI might work after all.
Note:
I am using SOBI on Joomla 1.5 version haven't encounter any issues except legacy plugin has to be enabled. - VirtueShop

- Aren't they both 1.5 Legacy - or does Fabrik work on 1.5 without it?

- Is it safe to use? My site is already in production and we just spend a few weeks getting it transfered to 1.5, so I'd hate to "wipe" it now.
