Afternoon all. I've gone and ordered myself a Dell Mini 9 with Ubunto. Basically, it's a machine for blogging/updating when on the go and so I don't have to carry around a 17" laptop when it really isn't needed.
Anyway, it's the Ubuntu operating system that is completely new. I've seen the software catalogue - but does anyone have recommendations on what I should be installing - killer apps for Ubuntu I guess.

- XChat or IRSSI. Ubuntu comes with pretty much all the basic apps so you don't need to install much.
