- Here is another alternative to Colorzilla.
  
  It is called Pixie. It is a small FREE utility that enables you to read any color you mouse over either on the web or on your desktop. I use this one daily.

  Then I go to color scheme sites like this one and use Pixie to get the HTML #'s. http://www.colorschemer.com/schemes/

- And of course don't forget about the web developer extension for firefox etc.

  It can give you some of the color Information used in a page like this (attch.screenshot)
  Just another useful tool in your arsenal..!

- I've seen a site posted here that had pre-made schemes that were submitted by users (had ratings etc) - does anyone know the site? I'm damned if I can find it and it looked pretty useful.
