- I'm using 1.5.9 and am trying to put in page descriptions on each page. do I need a patch for me to be able to do this ? With 1.015 there used to be a free patch which enabled you to add separate descriptions on each page, there was a paid patch that enabled you to create your own individual headings, obviously this is not needed with 1.5 now.The reason I ask is because I have deleted the description out of global configurations and added my own description on the front page. However when on serving the source code, there is nothing in the description for that particular page, there was when there was the default description in global configuration.

The free patch does a great job so it seems. I've just installed it on my 1.5 site and adding custom HTML headings and descriptions is a piece of cake. I use something similar on my 1.015 website I couldn't ask for better search ranking.
