Can I use a Wordpress blog with Joomla 1.5?

- Can anyone recommend an extension, etc, that will allow me to use a Wordpress blog with Joomla 1.5 besides corephp or something else I have to pay for before I can even try? The Joomla forums are next to worthless about this. If not, can anyone suggest different blogging software that would be similar? I've looked at other pages here about this but would like to hear any advice or opinions. Thanks.
