Man, i've shoveled my drive way 3 times already today. Between the last time I did it and the previous, which was only 4 hours, there was another 2 feet of snow! I have mountains on the side of my driveway right now that you could sled down! Anyway, still lots of fun.
Any of you guys experiencing this weather front first hand?
Sounds fun Andy! We had 4 inches of snow earlier in the month and then it warmed up which is unusual for Upper Michigan. Now I guess it looks like we'll be having a "brown" X-mas.. :-\ Mother Nature will pay us back real soon though...
The weather in San Diego is usually shirt-sleve weather year round, but it's been unseasonably cold for the past few days - down close to the 30's at night when it's usually in the 50's or high 40's.
I think it's Global Cooling?
I'm sort of an amateur Meteorologist and have enjoyed watching weather since I was a kid. I've been keeping up with the debate about global warming - before it was popularized and politicized. Are many of you aware that there have been 18 cycles of hot then cold weather in the past 1.2 million years - many times resulting in extremely hot or extremely cold weather? You draw the conclusion.
Weather in Europe seems odd this year, in Denmark we have broken a lot of ooooold heat records and stuff like that.
Most days it actually feels like a bad spring weather or something in that direction - winter seems long away.
