  • Where did this rubbish come from

    • Hello

      Ive just looked at one of my sites and noticed at the bottom of each page (In the footer) links have been added to my site which i did not put there

      I have viewed source also and I didnt add the code

      How did this get there? is there a problem with my security, Im not clued up with this at all and am worried about it

    • If someone is adding code to your site then the likelihood is yes, you have issues with security.

      There is a security check list here:

      docs.joomla.org/Category:Security_Checklist

      It isn't nice when these things happen and they usually only happen once as now, you'll be more cautious about permissions and extensions you add.
