Which template do you recommend?

Hi, I am a member here and wanted your opinion.
Keeping in mind that I am not an expert, but not a dummy either, what template would you suggest I start with to get the following:
This image is hidden for guests.
Please log in or register to see it.
I know I will have to make some adjustments and have been trying, but to no Avail. It really needs to end up exactly like this one.
Rocket theme or other is fine. Thanks.

The page looks rather static... for some reason I would go for a non Joomla site for this. In my opinion there is sites that needs Joomla and some doesnt.
Any reason why you have chosen Joomla for this project?

The easy answer to this is I am most comfortable with Joomla!, I like Joomla!, and want to use Joomla!
Having said that, I agree with you, but still want to use Joomla, and besides there are other pages of this site that are more dynamic.
Any suggestions on templates?

I'd try out PixelPerfect since it is already a bare minimum of a template.
Cut back all the colors so it's almost entirely white, like the page above, and start seeing how you can work the content into it to match your screenshot. - -- ChurchWiz - Easy & Affordable Church Websites

- i would actually just look up some info on creating your own template since it the site is pretty simple. You may find it more frustrating to water down a template to that level than to create your own simple one
