    unable to change htaccess file

    • Can someone help me please - never had this problem before!

      I am trying to change the 'htaccess' text file to '.htaccess' but my localhost machine will not allow me to change the name.

      I have done this a number of times before on the same machine :shock:

      any ideas?

    • strange but i managed to change it by going into notepad and saving it as '.htaccess'

      always been able to rename it before! :cry:
