You, guys, create a real masterpieces - very good looking templates, full of functionalities.
I have one suggestion - is it possible to have some sort of "Release Candidate" of your next-mont themes? Even a screenshot how it might look like? The reason for that is very simple - many club members did install Refraction (great template), but Affinity was born and we moved to it If we know in advance how the new template will look like we could wait for its release...

Well there might be room for discussion regarding the competition.
I guess every template club is working in advance on the future template. In advance I mean at least 2 future templates are in the development stage. So people are busy working on the templates, they have their visions how the theme will look like. What I am trying to say here is that serious template providers do not wait for the last moment to start building the next month's product.
Let's think from the customer's point of view. What I've done before joining the club is to look for the templates of other providers, mainly on bestofjoomla. Looking at their portfolios (including of Rockettheme), trying to find reviews of other people, live sites and so on. And when the new month begun, I was attracted by Refraction, and became member. And I am not feeling any regret at all So far I am very happy with my membership, for which I would like to thank to all team members and the wonderful community.
If for example 4-5 days before the new template will be released there is a screenshot of how it will look like many future customers hesitating which club to join will have some sort of motivation - here we go, another great theme will appear soon. And on Day 1 they might not look any further and join. Competitors will not have time to react and copycat the theme.

I can tell you this, RT develops templates many months in advance...
You may think a template like Mynxx that incorporates Virtue Mart is a one month project, or the latest release, Affinity, with JomSocial, K2, etc is also a one month project.... but if so, you are mistaken.
The development of the templates are far in advance; it's not until the 3rd party developers have something stable that RT can work with.
If the other 100+ templates (along with all the extensions) are not a reason to join, IMHO, releasing a SS of a template 5 days before it breaks really wont tip the scale.
If a developer can't wait, or develop their own site based on an RT template in advance of what RT will offer in the next month or so, the burden lies on the developer, not RT. - Thanks,

Hi,
I am very far from thinking that a single template can be developed only for one month. After all the Rockettheme templates are one of the best on the market. And this is not only because of the visual part, but also the integration with other products.
I will just add - keep doing the great job and keep the club members happy with this wonderful templates

Wasn't trying to give you a hard time....
As long as RT has been around, there's never been 'pre-release' screen shots or any type of preview of the upcoming release.
Andy LOVES to keep it a secret until it's actually released.

I understand clearly your point - after all this is intelectual property and needs to be protected.
BTW... I see Andy did develop the built-in Joomla template!
