SOLVED Restricting Publishers to Paricular Sections?

- I would like to create multiple users to be restricted to creating, editing, and publishing articles for their own section or category (preferably, category). Is this possible? If so, how?

It is possible with an extension that does this sort of thing from the Extensions site

Mike, thank you for your help.
Those extensions didn't provide ACL support, which is really what I am looking for. However, I did find some extensions at extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-...-full-access-control that I will look into.
I also discovered www.eduvs.ch/gmaccess though support in English is not provided.
