    Joomla Import/Export Tool

    • Is there a tool out there that will allow you to import or export categories/articles from a Joomla site?

      For example, if I create a new category called Portfolio that contains fifty articles, I would like to be able to export the category with all of the articles into another system and retain the article format.

      This would allow not only a snapshot or backup of the site, but I could also test the articles on a test system and then upload to a live server. Thanks in advance.

    • Thanks. JoomlaPack is okay. I think it's designed to export/import the entire site. I found a component called "Export Content" which allows you to only select the items that you want to export/import. I haven't tested it yet, but hopefully it will work.
